4-H Day & September Activities

What is 4-H Day?

As a 4-H member or leader in New England, you are cordially invited to attend “4-H/FFA Day” at The Big E as a guest of Eastern States Exposition on Saturday, September 14 and participate in the September New England 4-H Activities. For more information on the September New England 4-H Activities, please check the 4-H Packets. Photo Release Forms can be found in each of the packets. We urge you to take part in the 4-H program planned especially to give the public a broad view of the opportunities available to youth in 4-H. Call 413-205-5011 for participation ideas. You can also visit other Exposition exhibits as you wish.

What To Wear

At the Exposition you will be representing 4-H through New England and will have the opportunity to create a good impression to the public. School-type clothing is appropriate for 4-H members. We encourage you to wear some kind of 4-H insignia. For more information on what is appropriate, please click here.

Admission

New England 4-H Representatives will be admitted free who:
1. Is part of a 4-H group with an adult in charge.
2. Present a special 4-H identification ticket provided by Eastern States Exposition and distributed available from your county educator or state 4-H Office. (Good for only Saturday.)

Cars may enter Gate 9 anytime but parking will be easier if you arrive early. The regular fee will be charged for vehicles. Buses should enter Gate 1, unload passengers, then proceed to the bus lot as directed by bus lot personnel.
September Fair

Photo Release Forms can be found in each of the packets. Each participant must fill one out and submit for the September Activities.

2024 New England 4-H Participation Health Forms- Please bring a copy of the form to Dorm Office.

Parade Application Open- Due June 28, 2024

Meals

Meals in the 4-H cafeteria from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
